In Shawan people mainly plant Mo Lan (a type of Orchid in Chinese name), of which Qi Jian Mo Lan is the key product, whose blossoming time was between January to March in Chinese Lunar New Year, so it was called Annum Orchid, and few variety types blossom in autumn. There is a large oval bulb at the root, whose root is thick, long and fleshy, with 4-5 pieces of leaves, but the weaker orchid only with 2-3 pieces, whose length is 60-80cm, and width 2-7-4.2cm. And its upright flower stem normally exceeds the surface of leaves with 7-8 pieces of different types of flowers, whose flowers have different colors with strong or light fragrance, such as borrow, yellow, white and green. They have high value of ornamental appreciation. Mo Lan should be planted under the shade of trees with 50% of natural light, with suitable temperature 18 to 25 degrees Celsius, whose growth inhibition will be limited if the temperature below 10 or above 30 degrees Celsius, with the most appropriate air humidity from 70% -80%. Also the good environmental ventilation and air permeability will be very healthy to the growth of orchid planting, which is very important to improve the disease resistance.
