Dragon Dance is very common in Lingnan area, of which dragon’s styles are more various than lion dances, such as straw dragons, cloth dragons, and fired dragons or incense dragons based on straw dragons. Normally there are around ten parts for the dragon body, which determines how many people to attend the dance. The dance movements depends on the martial arts base, like the dragon’s rising, swirling, rolling, as well as the pared dragons dancing, and performance of the double dragons teasing pearls. Fired dragon dance is performed at night, and dancers passionately showed audience the dances, which provided some romantic atmosphere. Dragon dance is also with drummer playing, like lion dance, and local dancers usually to perform with folk music, which is a bit different.
