Shawan Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe was announced as the National Training A Team by China Dragon and Lion Sports Association, and attended many important events, such as the closing ceremony in the Ninth Sports Games 2001, the over 30th anniversary diplomatic ceremony between China and Japan held in Japan in 2002, and in 2006 "China Federation of the Eighth Congress - China Writers' Association, the Seventh Congress" Gala, Guangzhou Asian Games opening ceremony in 2011.
